How do I restore a M2/M3 CNC Backup?

Step 1 Click on the Documents folder> Local Disk (C)> Program Files (x86)> M2 or M3 Measuring Software. May be listed as V2 (depending on what version has been purchased with the system).

Step 2 Click on mxcncoptions_unlocked.exe.

Step 3 In the CNC Options box Click on Load From File> Direct the file path to the

CNC backup you have chosen either from the Documents Folder on the PC or a Backup that may have been sent from a Support Tech.

Libraries/Documents/Public Documents/your system serial number/Factory Backup/your system serial number.par

Select the “File”

Select “Open”

Click Apply then Click Save to Flash.

Step 4 While in the same screen - The best method of checking functionality of the machine and if the backup was restored properly is to Auto Home the machine. If the machines homing sequence performs properly your Backup Restore worked.
